More about Becoming a Facilitator
Facilitators are university/college students who volunteer their time to deliver the programs. They act as role models, lead the program activities and share their life experience with the program participants.
Time Commitment for Facilitators
- 20 hours facilitation training
- Seven 2.5-hour program sessions (including preparation and debrief time) held after school each week in a Metro Vancouver elementary school
- One 3-hour Debrief over Dinner on completion of the program
How to Apply
Applications are welcomed year-round for either fall or spring sessions.
- Fall sessions run from mid-October to late November/early December.
- Spring sessions run from mid February to late-April.
Applications are accepted on an on-going basis.
