Job Description

The purpose of this position is to perform all duties required for the physical operation of the property such as minor plumbing, mechanical, electrical, HVAC, carpentry and renovation work and other related duties in an efficient and effective manner. This position will cooperate with other departments to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction.


Reporting to the Facilities Manager, we are seeking to hire a Building Operator 2, who will share in the:

•    Operation of the DDC System

•    Building repairs and maintenance

•    All minor Electrical, Plumbing, and HVAC work plus assisting with equipment change-outs

•    Performance of required duties to ensure rooms/equipment are in operable function/appearance

•    Maintenance of daily logbook, assisting with the development of Operational/Repair Procedures

•    Other duties as required

Required Skills:

•    Minimum of 3-5 years experience and skills in building maintenance, minor electrical, plumbing, HVAC repairs, and custodial work 

•    Power Engineering Class 5 or equivalent with proficiency on Building Automated DDC Systems 

•    Demonstrated good customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing 

•    Successful applicants are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, exemption requests must be supported by valid, legal documents.

•    Ability to work day schedules, including weekends
