Women and families in crisis receive assistance with temporary emergency housing, along with individuals requiring short- and medium-term lodging.
Wage: $20.45 per hour
Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager, the Building Service Worker will be responsible for the routine cleaning and upkeep of buildings and facilities which involves constant mobility, bending, lifting and reaching. Cleans and maintains all public areas and equipment and floor care when required. Cleans, disinfects and provides supplies for all washrooms reports all deficiencies to maintenance. Maintains high standard of cleanliness, sanitation and safety and assists in maintaining security of facilities in assigned areas. Other related duties as required and meeting room set ups, including dealing with guest requests in performance of above duties. A valid clear criminal record check (including working with vulnerable populations) is required. Successful applicants are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, exemption requests must be supported by valid, legal documents.
