Job Description

The laundry runner is responsible for assisting with laundry, delivering and stocking to the guest floors. Delivering to housekeeping storage areas and accommodate the guest expectations and needs. 

Pay rate: $22.89

What you’ll be doing:

  • Responding to room attendant needs for linen 

  • Stocking linen to all guest floor closets, following the par stock that is required on each floor 

  • Maintain a clean environment in the laundry room and linen closets 

  • Keeping common areas clean and tidy, lobby, lobby washrooms, lobby patio and 11th floor and 2nd floor terraces 

  • Respond to guests in a timely manner delivering items 

  • Work closely with all departments ensuring communication flows 

  • Perform other duties as assigned by manager 

  • Assisting laundry when needed 

What you’ll need: 

  • A valid clear criminal record check (including working with vulnerable populations) is required.  

  • The YWCA Metro Vancouver’s COVID-19 vaccination policy is currently suspended and as a result, vaccination from COVID-19 is not required at this time. However, should circumstances change and the YWCA deem it necessary to reintroduce such policy, you may be required to provide proof of vaccination against COVID-19 in order to be eligible to continue performing your duties
