Andrew was introduced to squash at the age of 9 and went on to reach a world ranking of #82 in his early 20’s.  He began his coaching journey over 30 years ago and became a Chartered Professional Coach in 2003.  Andrew is passionate about helping people improve and has worked with players of all levels from beginners to national champions.  He has been fortunate to work as the Canadian national team coach at a number of international events, highlighted by gold medal for the Canadian Women’s team at the 2007 Pan Am Games.  Andrew’s coaching philosophy can be summarized by the following statement – “helping people learn how to play the game is far more valuable that just teaching them how to hit the ball”.
