Booking on our hotel site directly reduces costs and provides more revenue to our community services.

As a social enterprise, all of our proceeds go directly to services such as social housing, community kitchen and youth programs.

  • All reservations must be guaranteed with a valid credit card. 
  • We will hold the room for you all night even for late arrivals. 
  • Unless otherwise noted*, all reservations are subject to a 48 hour cancellation policy to avoid a cancellation equal to one night's room and tax.

    *Reservations during December 6-9, 2024: we will be processing a non-refundable deposit at the time of booking equivalent to the full amount of the stay, inclusive of taxes, to guarantee your reservation for stay dates between between December 6-9, 2024, only. 

    **Reservations during July 1-7, 2025: we will be processing a non-refundable deposit on January 6, 2025, equivalent to the full amount of the stay, inclusive of taxes, to guarantee your reservation for stay dates between July 1-7, 2025, only.

  • VISA, MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS and DIRECT DEBIT are accepted for payment at time of check in.  
  • Upon check-in, guests are required to have their own valid credit card and ID, for security deposit and incidentals
  • All rates are subject to 21% taxes and fees. This rate is subject to change as per government regulations.
  • Guests must be 19 years of age or older to reserve a room. 
  • Check-in is 4:00pm. Check-out before 11:00am on your departure day.

  • Yes, men are welcome to stay!  
  • The downtown YWCA Hotel Vancouver is open to ALL travellers—women, men, families and groups. You also do not need a YWCA or YMCA membership. 
  • Our rates are in Canadian dollars. 
  • We have complimentary luggage storage services for our hotel guests before your room is ready or for the day if you have checked out. 
  • Free, secure and safe bike parking is located within our underground parking area.
  • Limited parking is available first-come-first-serve in a secure underground lot for hotel guests for $25.00 (including tax) per night. There is also ample parking nearby. 
  • Temporary parking for check-ins are available in the lane behind the hotel, it is labelled — “5-minute parking”. 

Sorry, but

  • We do not have dormitory-style accommodations.
  • Storage for your bags overnight is unavailable if you are not a guest in the hotel.
  • We do not have a full-service restaurant; however dozens of restaurants are on our block and down the street.
  • We do not provide breakfast, but there are three large guest kitchens available for our guests to prepare their meal. 
  • Sorry, we currently do not allow pets in the YWCA Hotel.

I have stayed at the YWCA a few times now and am always pleased with my stay. It’s a great location, staff is friendly and accommodating, and the rooms are nicer than most anything else you’ll get for the price/ location.
