Volunteer

Our volunteers are an integral part of the YWCA Health + Fitness Centre. 

If you are a skilled and certified fitness professional, you can make a difference in your community by volunteering with us. 

Ways to volunteer 

We are always looking for passionate professionals in the following roles:

  • Group Fitness Instructor  

  • Pilates Instructor 

  • Aquafit Instructor 

  • Fitness Coach 

  • Squash Coach

Volunteer perks 

As a volunteer instructor, you will receive: 

  • Complimentary membership with towel service 

  • Annual CPR & First Aid re-certification training 

  • KickStart Conference and additional training events each year for BCRPA renewal credits 

 

Prerequisites 
  • BCRPA (or equivalent) registered fitness leader and/or weight training leader or personal trainer 

  • Current CPR-A/AED
