Our volunteers are an integral part of the YWCA Health + Fitness Centre!

If you're a skilled and certified fitness professional, you can make a difference in your community by volunteering with us.

Ways to volunteer

We are always looking for passionate professionals to join our team in the following roles.

  • Group Fitness Instructor 
  • Pilates Instructor
  • Aquafit Instructor
  • Fitness Coach
  • Squash Coach 

Volunteer perks

To show our appreciation, we offer our volunteers great incentives!  As a YWCA Health + Fitness Centre volunteer instructor, you will receive:

  • A complimentary membership with towel service
  • Annual CPR & First Aid re-certification training
  • KickStart Conference and additional training events each year for BCRPA renewal credits

Prerequisites

BCRPA (or equivalent) registered fitness leader and/or weight training leader or personal trainer.  Current CPR-A/AED.
