YWCA Metro Vancouver Welcomes Juggy Sihota as the Women of Distinction Awards’ New Event Chair

YWCA Metro Vancouver is thrilled to welcome Juggy Sihota as the Event Chair for the 42nd annual Women of Distinction Awards.

A visionary leader in business and community engagement and a recipient of the Women of Distinction Award in the Business & the Professions category in 2022, Juggy brings a wealth of experience, passion and commitment to excellence that will undoubtedly elevate this year’s event.  

As the Senior Vice President at TELUS Health, Juggy has been instrumental at scaling this business to now delivering care to 76 million people across 160 countries. Under her leadership, TELUS Health has pioneered initiatives like the Health for Good mobile clinics, which have supported over 245,000 visits for vulnerable individuals in 27 communities and introduced groundbreaking precision health services at TELUS Health Care Centres across Canada.  

Juggy’s career is defined by building and leading high-performing teams to solve complex problems through innovation, sound judgment and leveraging technology. Her leadership influence spans health, business, racial and social justice, gender equality and globalization. Her dedication to social capitalism and driving both exceptional business outcomes and meaningful human impact has earned her numerous accolades, including being named one of Canada’s Most Powerful Top 100 Women by the Women’s Executive Network and one of BC’s Most Powerful People by Vancouver Magazine.  

In addition to her professional achievements, Juggy has a distinguished history of community leadership. She currently serves as the immediate past Chair for the VGH & UBC Hospital Foundation Board, the immediate past Chair for the Greater Vancouver Board of Trade and Director for the Vancouver International Airport Authority.  

This year marks the 42nd YWCA Metro Vancouver Women of Distinction Awards presented by Scotiabank, a celebration of extraordinary achievements and leadership across various sectors. We are deeply grateful to have Juggy Sihota’s expertise, energy, passion and vision guiding this iconic event.
