Become a Voting Member
For nearly 125 years, YWCA Metro Vancouver has worked to strengthen the social fabric of our community. Become a voting member and join more than 25 million people worldwide who believe in empowering and advocating for women, girls, Two-Spirit and gender diverse people.
As a member, you:
- Show your commitment to an organization that uplifts thousands of women and families across Metro Vancouver every year
- Support and strengthen the local, national and global movement for gender equality
- Are invited to participate in our Annual General Meeting, and help guide the strategic direction of the YWCA by electing our board-level leadership
- Will be kept informed of our work through our bi-annual Contact newsletter
Who can apply?
Self-identified women who are 18 years of age or older and who support YWCA Metro Vancouver’s Vision and Mission and agree with YWCA's bylaws.
New members are eligible to vote 30 days after joining.
