YWCA FOCUS@Work
Helps women assess their skills and strengths, set career goals and develop job search skills to get meaningful employment. This free 12-week program includes three weeks of workshops and nine weeks of coaching and job search support.
YWCA Changing Gears
A truck driver training program for women. This free 23-week program gives participants the opportunity to acquire a Class 1 driver’s license as well as the training needed to kick start a career in transportation.
YWCA Survive to Thrive
A specialized employment and skills training program for women who have experienced violence and/or abuse. This free 12-week program empowers survivors through employment and skills enhancement.
YWCA Aspire
Provides newcomer and refugee women with job search skills and work experience. This free program includes six weeks of training, 12 weeks of paid work placement and three weeks of follow-up support.
YWCA Elevate Skills
Assists immigrant women in navigating the Canadian labour market and securing meaningful careers. This free program includes three weeks of online workshops and up to 13 weeks of follow-up support.
YWCA Tech Connect
Supports internationally-trained newcomer women with experience in IT to secure careers in BC's booming tech industry. This free program includes three weeks of employment workshops, five weeks of mentorship and employment coaching and follow-up support.
YWCA Accelerate
A free online program that supports youth ages 15 - 30 to find meaningful work in administration and customer service. Participants are paid for training and practicum hours.
YWCA Gear Up
A bike mechanic training program for youth 16 - 30 years old. This free 10-week program equips youth with the skills, certification and employer connections needed to secure a career as a bike mechanic.
YWCA Strive
A holistic program to support youth ages 17 - 24 who are transitioning or have transitioned out of foster care. Participants are paid to attend life-skills and employability workshops and to obtain qualifications that will help them pursue a career or further education.
Job Futures 55+
Prepares job seekers who are 55+ years to achieve sustainable employment through skills training and employment supports. This free 10-week program includes group-based workshops, one-to-one support and individualized training plans.
YWCA Employment Navigator
One-to-one, personalized support to help single mothers access information, resources and programs in employment and education.
YWCA TechLink
A program for EI-eligible internationally-trained professionals or Canadians with limited work experience. This free program provides an opportunity to gain local, tech-related work experience by providing community members with IT support and technical assistance.

An employment service for survivors of trauma, delivered by WorkBC Centres across Metro Vancouver. This free program uses a trauma-informed, resilience-based approach that prepares participants for the workforce by offering them a safe environment to explore how to move forward in life.

A new program that helps participants tap into their full potential and create the life they want to live, through goal setting and action planning.
