Job Description

YWCA Metro Vancouver is opening two new housing communities in Burnaby in Fall 2025.  The Intake Administrator will support the Property Managers in the rent up process for these sites by providing office support with scheduling, communication and record keeping.   

What you’ll be doing:

  • Reviewing housing applications;
  • Scheduling interviews and tenancy signings and book meeting rooms;
  • Creating and maintaining files, both physical and digital;
  • Checking references;
  • Collecting rent review documents;
  • Communication with applicants about the rent up process and about the new housing communities;
  • Greeting applicants and directing them to the appropriate person; and
  • Other duties as required.

What you’ll need:

  • Minimum educational requirement: High School Diploma or a combination of work/lived experience;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Strong organizational and time management skills;
  • Attention to detail;
  • Motivated to work independently and as part of a team;  
  • Willingness to use Microsoft Word, Arcori, Safetyline, Relias, ADP Workforce Now; and
  • A clear Criminal Record Check working with vulnerable populations will be required.
