This position is reporting to the Housekeeping Manager at our Hotel/Residence location in downtown Vancouver.
Wage: Starting at $22.54 per hour
What you’ll be doing:
- The responsibilities will include changing linen on beds, vacuuming, thorough cleaning of guest rooms and public areas.
- Replace used towels, clean kitchens, public areas and rooms.
- Dust furniture and replenish guest amenities.
- The successful candidate will have high standards of cleanliness, good communication and interpersonal skills and a desire to work in a team work environment.
- Able to establish and maintain a safe working environment according to Work Safe BC regulations.
What you’ll need:
- A valid clear criminal record check (including working with vulnerable populations) is required.
- The YWCA Metro Vancouver’s COVID-19 vaccination policy is currently suspended and as a result, vaccination from COVID-19 is not required at this time. However, should circumstances change and the YWCA deem it necessary to reintroduce such policy, you may be required to provide proof of vaccination against COVID-19 in order to be eligible to continue performing your duties.
