About

Suzy is an award-winning fitness professional, dance educator, and founder of Ballet Lounge® and the nationally recognized Ballet Fit® program. With more than 20 years of experience, she specializes in helping adults build strength, posture, confidence, and a joyful connection to movement. Her background includes studies in the BA Dance (Ballet) program with a Kinesiology foundation at the University of Calgary, as well as professional training from the School of Alberta Ballet. Suzy blends classical ballet technique with functional strength training, mindful conditioning, and mobility work that supports whole-body wellness.

A four-time IMPACT Magazine Top Fitness Instructor in Canada, Suzy is known for her supportive, technique-driven approach emphasizing alignment, injury prevention, core strength, and sustainable progress. She has extensive experience working with all levels, including those returning from injury, postpartum clients, and adults who are brand-new to ballet and fitness. Her passion is helping beginners feel welcome, capable, and empowered. No previous dance experience required. Suzy brings a unique combination of artistry, athleticism, and evidence-informed training to every session, helping clients feel stronger, more confident, and deeply connected to their bodies.
