YWCA Aspire Placement Services

Finding great talent can be challenging, we can help.

The YWCA Aspire program offers a 75% wage subsidy for a maximum of 12 weeks when you hire our participants.

Who we are and what we do

The YWCA Aspire team works with professional newcomer refugee women to gain employment experience and start their careers in Canada. Taking place over an 18-week period, participants receive dedicated instruction and certifications that are relevant to today’s job market. They then receive hands-on work experience via paid internships with employers who are looking for qualified candidates.

Combining a mix of high-level instruction, industry certifications and subsidies for employers, we aim to make finding the right candidate easier and more convenient for you.

Why partner with us?

By partnering with YWCA Aspire, you will be eligible to work with a qualified graduate of our program for a maximum of 12 weeks (or 420 hours) and be reimbursed for up to 75% of the graduates’ wages, vacation pay, WCB and MERC costs.

  • Gain access to a network/database of candidates that can be a great fit for your organization, now and in the future.
  • Gain access to a number of supports like wage subsidy and orientation training that can help bring new interns up to speed.
  • Increase your employer branding by being recognized as an organization that supports diversity and inclusion.
