Celebrating Youth: BC Youth Week 2017 events
It's BC Youth Week for first week of May. Young people have always played an active role in the way society has been shaped and now more so than ever they are catalysts for positive change. Whether it's volunteering in a community centre or inventing a phone-charging mug, young people are full of potential and drive.
Youth are a big part of many programs at YWCA Metro Vancouver. We recognize the critical role they play in informing us about issues and trends that affect them in their day-to-day lives and work with young to better our community through our youth programs and services.
