Are you a self-identified Indigenous woman or gender-diverse person*? Our talking circle is seeking peer mentors!
The Indigenous Mentor Circle is a space created by and for Indigenous women and gender-diverse folks. In Circle, you are invited to join in connection and celebration of Indigenous identity, navigate the realities of surviving colonialism and cultivate lasting relationships with Indigenous peers in a community space.
In the program, you will:
-
Connect with other Indigenous folks, build lasting friendships and engage in discussions on relevant social and personal topics
-
Grow skills in facilitation, holding space, listening and sharing within a group setting as a peer mentor
-
Share knowledge and learn alongside peers through crafts, games, conversations, workshops and activities
-
Celebrate and explore Indigenous identity and culture
-
Build upon your relationship to yourself, your peers, and your communities
In this program, participants are invited to share their personal medicine while exploring topics of identity, reciprocity, re-Indigenization and solidarity with a community of peers.
*We welcome members of the Two-Spirit, Trans, Non-Binary, Queer and Disabled communities
Applications are open for the 2025-26 program year.
