YWCA Crabtree Corner is a welcoming community and resource centre in the Downtown Eastside for women and families.

Crabtree Corner houses many services under one roof, from transitional housing for expecting and new mothers in recovery to child care, parenting programs, a community kitchen and programs for self-identified women who have experienced abuse.

Staff and volunteers meet people where they are at with support, resources, programs and referrals.

Crabtree Corner Visioning 2024

In the spring of 2024, YWCA Crabtree Corner employees and community members developed Listening Sessions to define the values, vision and mission of YWCA Crabtree Corner and also to build strategies to improve housing, child care and community programs.

This work led to the creation of the Cultivating Community Roots and Planting Seeds of Hope - Crabtree Corner Community Listening and Planning Report 2024
